In This Moment

In this moment I fill up my vessels
From the river whose sources are many
Into the water I dip my pots
And try to collect what all can be
I travel a long way back
To reach my roots to the farther side
From where I come to where I am
Distances never defined my rides
The sun is high; my pace is slow
The pots I carry are too much a load
Yet I walk, hands gripped around the pots
Satisfied, I travel on the right roads
As I reach the site, finding my respite
The load I carry seizes to be
I turn around and find my pot
Leaking all the way, dripping beneath

Generation Y ?!

I am worried about today’s generation.

Haha! Look! The granny is giving gyan! Must be high on stuff!

Wachya' sayin ??!!?

Coming back..

WE, we feel we are better off today, than our parents. We have better understanding of things around us, be it other person’s ill intentions or our own ways to get a situation in control. We feel we have an experience worth a mention and we can govern our own lives; in fact, live it the way that suits us. We feel more independent, and hence more confident.

The way most see it but won’t accept it is that we are vulnerable. We sniff falsehood like gas leakage from an LPG cylinder. We fail to trust again and again. We maintain personal distances from people, but get them together just for some selfish company. We are scared to be alone but we also stay alone to avoid people. We can’t give favors so we don’t ask for any. Most of us don’t want to be under the debt of favor bank. We happily say ‘See you soon’, but know inside that that time won’t come anytime sooner. We just stay happy in planning things than actually following that plan and achieving something out of it. We are like cow dung, a substance considering itself to be a fuel but never burning the whole lot, mostly wasting away.

Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat et cetera, now seems to be a mode for shy people, who can’t come face to face and say a hello, but pop up in a chat, if they hook someone online. These have become platforms to reach people but more to create distances between many, especially between ‘I’ and ‘myself’. We are, well lost!

Fact: We are lazy. While I know you all quietly agree to it, I present my example to abstain you from feeling bad alone. It took me 1 hour to reach to my laptop to write few words, though it was just an arms distance away from me, though I am glad the effort is paying off.

Fact: We blame. Because blaming self, hurts the esteem and lowers the confidence. Study a friend around you, a colleague, and a known person for few months if you need a proof. Oh! And don’t forget to study yourself too.

Fact: We pretend to be guilty. What an easy way to win over! ‘Ok! It is my mistake only, I only did wrong. I shouldn’t have cared so much, which is why now I am suffering’

Fact: We are pretentious. We think and make up our own cloud of pretentions. ‘She must be taking her revenge on me, now I told her the truth.’ ‘He cut the call deliberately, I know why!’

Fact: We are fooling ourselves. ‘I will quit smoking, I will! It is easy only, from 10 to 2 cigarettes per day.’ ‘I will meet my friends next weekend, after all where will they go anyways, today I can rest.’’ I will save money tomorrow, what difference will one day make, and now only is the time to expend.’

Fact: We have Trust issues! After what we prove to others, as a person first, should we really think of giving others chances to trust us.

But most of all, we are RUNNING! We are Running, from ties, from bonds, from responsibilities, from attachments, from favor banks, from being US!

We are portraying a ‘perfect’ us outside, oh how empty we are on the inside, how empty is our soul, how sad we are, though we laugh and smile everyday over beer, parties, lunch tables and in our offices. How sad…

All we want is some company, some stories to tell, some to listen, some to make our own and it is surprising how frantically we are doing it all in a wrong way, making it complicated.

  • Buying a dress and feeling happy in that moment and when you wear it to show off.
  • Purchasing a car and driving everywhere, every day to feel your ability, power and confidence.

Materials that get tarnished, even before a human lifetime completes, are strangely more in demand and trend these days.

  • Sex becomes an interesting conversation, a much more interesting affair and love becomes whiff from a romantic Bollywood cinema?
  • Economy and Market still don’t effect the number of cigarettes you smoke in a day, or the weekend alcohol plan, it is but a mode to gain empathy in financial crises.
  • Blaming the country, government, and corruption while you are throwing that mint cover, on the footpath, after a smoke?
  • Having pride in what you have, letting others down, and pointing at their glitches?

Doesn’t something inside us itch and indicate a red-signal, a jump-wave? Like - ‘Hey!

You! Yes You! What are you doing huh?!’
Offering a piece of word/good wishes/advises halfheartedly because that makes you look good? Don’t you think the happy birthdays on you facebook account or some good looking horoscopes are a fool’s paradise? Don’t you feel robotized in this world? Who are you now? What you think about yourself? What can you change? How are you are different from the crowd around?

Look! Everyone around is in the same boat! Don’t you know, you need to recognize first yourself and then your value? What is your gift, what is your power in this world? Do we read ourselves yet?

Life is not a competition, it is a game of self-realization, without looking out for rewards.

It is terrible that we are losing the connection with our conscience that we are not trying to establish it back. We are slowly shutting our human side down and waking up the animal inside us. How negatively pleasing to know our kind is just multiplying somewhere now.

Ta da the Bla Bla talks come to an end.. Thanks for the time

The Art of Bitching

We meet at least one person in a day who is speaking about somebody but hey not in a good way.
For example: we hear fellow employees of our firms talk,

He doesn’t know anything properly and orders around like he is the manager. He is our TL (team Lead) not our boss’.

‘She needs the report by today itself. She doesn’t have senses or what? How will we complete it by today? She keeps on wasting time and when deadline comes she starts her drama.’

‘How many times I have told him, he is dumb! You know what he tells me he needs more time, how long will he take who knows, we need the work done in first place and not excuses.’

Our manager only knows excel sheets, he is good for nothing He has no idea what is going on in the team.’

It's an Art

We have been in situations where we hear people talk about other people at their backs and witness the same people smile along when in front of them. We have been quiet spectators of the act done knowingly, out of frustration or vengeance. We have also been one of them once in a blue moon.

Oh no! Don’t you say you have never ever done bitching behind their backs, yes you have, you just don’t accept it. It’s acceptable in society, it’s a part of human nature, and we do it without a drop of guilt hanging from our mouths when we speak. It provides contentment, brings relief to our contracting synapses and lets us release a kind of stress or frustration we accumulate inside due to other person’s non-sensible acts.

It better be released by the medium of mouth else it might take the form of revenge through other means.

How many people take revenge? How many?

NO I am not talking about shooting her in the head, but taking an appealing opportunity to deliberately let the person be at a minor loss or little harm.

Everyone!

Nature of Homo sapiens is funny though. We trust and drop in few words in unknown ears, clearing the blockage in our heads but creating one in the heads of those, who are desperately thinking how to let loose of this useless information that they just heard. Say it to whosoever it was intended for!

‘I guess you better know what he told about you last night.’

‘She doesn’t think good of you.’

Wooo-OW! You know what is the best part that comes next?....................SPICES!!

Let me, a no one guarantee you that they play a game of Chinese Whispers where either they end up saying all the extra things to pep up the words they heard from here and there. Or they merely say the exact words that had heard from here and there. This ends up making a hot, spicy khichdi! (please google it).

So now, person X, who told something about person Z to person Y, is in accusation as person Y has told person Z, something too much or a bit too less, probably more than just a, b, c, d, probably the alphanumeric characters too ( # % $ @..) which were never meant or said by person X.

Poor person X; Who knows who takes revenge on whom now?

In another interesting twist: It comes to Person X’s knowledge, what raita(check google)  has been spread by Person Y and Person X is deeply hurt because X confided in Y.

Some people take revenge through words, other do it through deeds while others show it through their work. The last one is the best way out because the first two really waste your time and energy.

Just do it and let your success make noise. Mind You! It’s an applied methodology and the results are promising! Just really mind your own good business.

Person Y would be foolish enough if he/she still trusts you back and they will, because you really didn’t go with the mainstream way of revenge.

Bitching is an art after all, everyone does it. Not everyone can end it well.

Not everyone can end it well

Ashes-Ashes

I am ashes ashes
A burnt out fire
Fury dissolved by waters of desire
Fragments frilled out of my bones
Chipped and shaped as liked to be known

I am ashes ashes
A burnt out fire
Sunken by the promises of a liar
Settled down, my parchment heart
Veined out, dissembled and distort

I am ashes ashes
A burnt out fire
Waxing and waning, trying to acquire
Perfection, perception of a good human
Ways to restore my valour, my reflection
Mauled by soot of expectations

I am ashes ashes
A burnt out fire
Kindled still smoked out of pyre
Fumed and wasted, tired of trying
To spark a connection
Out of a fused out wiring

I am the remains, I am the cinder
I am ashes ashes
I am a burnt out fire

Some days just be rain

Some days just be rain
Floods of emotions cannot be sustained
Droughts of desire drive insane
Some days just be rain

Drowned by dissappointments and pain
Breathing with effort, fluttering in vain
Forgone time that went and never came
The last words that got left self contained
And silence made those words get tamed
Some days just be rain

Drought beneath the layer of rot
Self strengthened to endure the rock
Stones cutting through the silent heart
Pick up thorns from bleeding parts
Dense black sorrow from the skull
That thought all good but did nothing well
Now regrets the deeds it allowed to dwell
Thus falling back in the ever deepening well

The drought did try but nothing was gained
What had dried won’t grow up again
The empty emotions, sucked out and sold
For prices made on blame bargains

All ships have sunk, the flood is on the gain
The drought has come, find a different terrain
If the story holds true, remains unstained
Fight for what is true, strive against the undulating bane
And hope that some days just be rain

Song of my Blood

The Blood in my Veins
Sings my Song to You
It gushes through Loud and Clear
That I am a Falling Liquid
And I am the Color of Pain and Despair
The Breaths that hold Inside me
Reverberate the tone of Sobs and a Tear
The Lungs that fill up
With the Air of Gloom
Call you but Whisper out just Air
The Electric Wiring in this Mind
Currents past the Thoughts Endured
The Hands shiver in Disparity
Thinking what went Wrong and Where
Knees that held the Strength of Soul
Now shake like a Weak Wobbly Pillar
While this Heart beats On and On
Until the Muscles get Tired and Tear

Fig-meant of Imagination

When there is a fig and when you think about its meaning and being it is called fig-meant of imagination. You might wonder what is she talking about!
Moving out of the ever blinding cloud of words that don’t make sense at all, I directly come to the point- Imagination.

Waking dream or imagination is a mesmerising thing to think of! You can design your imagination the way you want to, put into it, your favourite colours and see the flowers in it bloom and scent according to your will and wish. All of it, without letting anyone know about it. You sit alone, silent in your room or you be in a crowded place, like waiting for a train at the railway station, you are bound to dream, straying to the far-far lands and staring unknowingly somewhere. Sometimes it happens that you are lost looking right in the face of a person until his/her reverted gaze catches you and you bounce out of the stillness.

People imagine things they think of, they wish for, they fear and dread, they envy, they get angry about, to sum up, I guess all the emotions do form a figment of the imagination. This is what drives them, to be, to work towards what they want. For example, a person sees a rich man; he dreams of himself getting down from a car, spending his fortune on things he always wanted for himself, so he starts looking for better job opportunities or find some way to earn more. Another example a girl who is plump looks at another who is slim and beautiful. She thinks of herself in that state, how good looking she would be, probably she might get a nice guy. She imagines herself like that and wishes to be slim too so she starts to do daily exercise. Imagination is a positive trigger to few but it can have a negative impact too.
In order to become rich, that person can try taking advantage of others or deceive others so that he gets on top. That girl might start dieting and ruin her health to become like someone else. So it is important that one thinks positive for realising their waking dream.
It is such a beautiful part of our brain with an ability to imagine what cannot exist. It provides grounds to prove that nothing is impossible. For example, who thought a human could fly like a bird until somebody imagined it and here we are flying up to space.
I read somewhere that – when a wish is exactly same as fear, then it is a nightmare. Applies to even imagination, doesn’t it? But then all you do it shake you out of that and move on, though somewhere it still stays in your head.
That was bad, what you thought, it was wrong. You are not supposed to think like that. Imagination gives you wings to break all the bounds constructed by the wrong and right book of humans and society. So many complications and one easy task, just Imagine!
Some follow the trails and match the dots laid by their imagination and do something immensely good and extremely worst, a matter of control over the mind. Everything you are and will be is a figment of your imagination and your urge to follow it. Your thoughts are just the bridges or paths to them.
Fig-meant, did I say fig? You know it looks like an onion and its inside looks like an inside of a jellyfish! I want to eat one, no not jellyfish, am talking about the onion.

Trust

Trust not in the words they say
Read their eyes if those lies, they convey
Upon you shall not dawn betrayal
See to it they do, what they say
Trust only if your heart says you may

All That Is Me

Floating in the vacuum where there is not a sound
Letting all lose, nothing shall make me bound
I am my own master, I am the slave
I gather my angels, while I dig my own grave
The devil rocks beside me in the chair
While I laugh with vituperation, I stare
The angel sits next to my soul
I am born, every moment, I die as a whole
I release my breath, the wisps of air
I scoff at the time that runs in despair
I shoot the eagles that fly often too high
I bend and touch the ground, beneath which I will lie
I throw the diamonds, I melt the gold
I become my own as I manifold
I trance to the levels that I knew long ago
Layers beneath my skin follow the flow
I am but not, I am a serene spirit
Stiff in the moment yet I get a drift
Pushed by the seconds, the ticks of the clock
Sway as I stay ahead of the moron flock
Catch me if you may
If you dare to touch my fire
Smoke I am, uplifted by desire
Parted by ways and born with benign
Yet devil in my left eye and right without a vision
Shadows of the stars hollow their dust in me
Ah! Pixels of love I am and all that I will be

10 best cartoon pairs that we have adored as kids, never mind we have grown up we still catch a glimpse whenever we can

To the 90s kids, we know that Cartoon Network is ‘the best network in town’. We remember how excited we would be to watch the next episode of Scooby Doo or Captain Planet.
To the kids of Millennium, yes CN is great but not as good as its elder brother during the cartoon mania. Today we have memes and rather irritating characters, as cartoonists run out of ideas but in the yesteryears, we had our deserving picks, and try beating us on the episodes because we still remember our favourite ones like yesterday.

Number 10: Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries

I can still sing the chorus of the opening song. This one goes to our detective Granny’s angel pets,
Sylvester, the cat and Tweety, the tiny yellow canary. Sylvester, called as Bilamama if anyone got to
watched it in Hindi by chance, is always chasing after and trying to eat our petite Tweety. But our
bird has wits, a good timing and Hector the bulldog bodyguard to save him from the claws of the
pretentious kitty. The cute Tweety stammers and spites to Sylvester in an adorable way, by repeatedly saying , ''dat bad old putty tat'.

Number 9: Pingu and Pinga

Now who doesn’t know about the brother-sister duo? The cartoon itself looks quite different with the
clay-animation effect. The playful, active and curious Pingu, is always keen on exploring new things
and places. Pinga, his little adorable sister, who is born out of an egg, as was shown in one of the
episodes completes the igloo family of four, including Papa Pingu and Mama Pingu.

Number 8: Ed Edd Eddy

This cartoon with unusual looking kids, carrying out absurd tasks just didn’t make much sense. Few
bunch of kids going frantic every now and then just brought nothing but confusion. But we still
continued to watch the trio with curiosity until the end. And as for the information guys, surprisingly
this was the longest running cartoon on Cartoon Network.

Number 7: Courage, The Cowardly Dog

Courage is a coward. Though named as Courage sarcastically, this dog is basically a hero. As we all
know, Courage always finds ways to rescue and save his owners Eustace and Muriel, who is a
married couple, living nowhere. Saving from? Well, the freakiest type of ghost/creature you can think
of, even a vegetable that can come alive and eat you up or a talking blister, on your own body that
completely engulfs you. What more than unfathomable ghosts, peek-a- booing you from here and there with a coward dog to save the day!

Number 6: PowerPuff Girls

I know we are quite much talking about Trios here, but can you really ignore them, these three super
girls made of Chemical –X? They have super speed; they have laser power; they have echo-echo
power. They are little female versions of superman! Didn’t you love to see them destroy the crazy monkey Mojo Jojo or awkwardly behaving devils like ‘HIM’? The Townsville sleeps sound with these power-puffed girls, defeating the bad guys with boom and bang!

Number 5: SWAT Cats

My personal favourite, SWAT Cats is a series of anthropomorphic cats, who are no cute kitties but
tough feline fighter pilots who save their town from the bad guys, who persistently try to destroy the
feline city. Contrary to their masked personalities as super-heroes, they normally live the life of
garage guys and with extreme vigilance, they keep an eye on the villains, who arrive every time with
bigger and better master plans. Technology freaks, T-Bone and Razor are cool cats of modern
times.

Number 4: Dexter and Didi

The child parody, Dexter has a secret laboratory in his own house, where he works day and night
with his crazy inventions and kickass technologies. Though his mum and dad don’t have a clue
about it, his irritating and almost always excited sister Dee Dee breaches all the securities to his lab
and plays havoc, disrupting his experiments. Dexter, though hates his sister for ruining his
experiments, can go to any lengths to save her from trouble. Mandark, his rivalry and equally brain,
uses his technology for evil deeds often attacking and competing with Dexter. But in the end, we know who our hero is!

Number 3: Scooby-Doo and Shaggy

Five teenagers, a speaking Great Dane and a mystery machine land themselves up in spooky
places to solve mysteries, but the only exception is that they find themselves in trouble with ghosts
and other supernatural beings. With their tactics and agility, Shaggy and Scooby, the owner and the
pet always find their way out of trouble and save the day, though they more interested in hogging,
even in between the chase, with the ghosts behind them. Who wants Scooby’s Snacks by the way?

Number 2: Ash and Pikachu

Pokemon , the fascinating Japanese anime, took the cartoon world by storm. We couldn’t blink our
eyes, when Charmeleon transformed to Charizard or when Pikachu defeated the much stronger
Raichu on his own terms. We relished the friendship Ash developed with Pikachu over time. We
glued our eyes to TV screen during the Battle Front. We absolutely loved the cute, adorable and
electric Pokémon Pikachu and his trainer Ash, who together, set out to win the battles against others
and themselves.

Number 1: Tom & Jerry

Nobody can defy the fact that Tom, the cat and Jerry, the little mouse have been the most favourite
pair since the time we remember watching the Cartoon Network. We have laughed over and over,
watching a simple chase of a cat and mouse and we have our laughed our guts out watching the
same episode, no matter how many times. We have enjoyed the duo and still can recall the episode
on getting a glimpse. Tom and Jerry, the undeniable addictive characters of the most loved cartoon
of our times, rule out to be number one pairs in the Cartoon town!

Let go Off

You Absorb your pieces of Ruins
Inside the Mud of your Memories
You pick up Obsolete Talks
And carry on your daily Deeds

You Smile and Smoke up the Tears
Wriggle and Shed your dreadful Fears
For once Look behind , what your own Shadow Hides
Dents in Bent Souls don't get washed by Time and Tides

Earn yourself from the Intimidating Pride
One that Wins with Facade and Fight
Reborn with the Light of Truth in your Eyes
And Swell yourself with Love, not Despise
Call out to the Pigeons of Peace
Listen to the Fugitive Emotions you Keep

Rub your Ribs and Clutch your Arm
Wait for your Heart to Brave and Respond
Lift off the Mask and Quench your Pain
While longing for Love, don't let it go in Vain

Strain your mind against the Greed of the World
Material is comfort as Money Manifolds
Though nothing will Fill the Jar of Desire
The More you Put,the lesser will seem Entire
So you Suffer albeit the Glass is Full
Asking where is the space to Refill
And You Fetch another One
Hence, it Starts from Where it had Begun

Contentment isn't synonym to 'NO'
Neither does it ask you to Forgo
Treasure the part that You already Bear
And Ruin it with Compassion and Care

Free yourself from the Bondage of Want
Free yourself from the Ties that Knot
Free yourself from the Tears you Hide
Let go Off the inside Fight
Let go Off the Fake Side
Let go..

And Remember: Don't Forget To Smile

Not to Hate

With my previous post about hatred going online, I received few raised eyebrows and pretty good smiles. Nothing better I say. But hey! Last night I discovered something. The story, here it goes.

Our PG’s care-taker is one such fellow in my list of hatreds. Why? Because his eye balls google here and there, sometimes following a girl, like the scent of her perfume. He chit-chats with PG girls, every now and then, talking honey coated, sugary-jaggery and goes sweet and polite. All the girls are happy to have him around at the dinner table. Me and my roommates call that person chantu meaning clever in a bad way.

Yesterday, when I was done with dinner at around 11 pm, I saw him taking the lid off the food, and checking if anything was left to fill his own tummy. No dinning with the cheerful girls tonight? I thought and asked him, “Anna, why are you taking dinner so late?” His reply with a grin, “Oh I had a lot of work today.” Without giving a thought, I just went away to my room and later realizing that the owner of PG had dropped in that evening so mister had to retain his modesty.

Another point that hit my head was that this time I did not get annoyed with him; I just passed from there without bothering for his reply and thinking where he was looking. I realized that hatred is a self inflicted burden. You have to do that whenever you see the trigger clicked, like a drill. But you don’t have to do that, you don’t have to think and you don’t have to act and you will see, the grenade that would burst you, will be useless even when the pin is pulled out. You would have defused it!
To be in control of yourself is to be wise.

But mind you, this is when you are indirectly getting under the showers of acidic rain. If the cloud is right over, you have a right to take out your own umbrella and prevent yourself and may be even poke out googly eyes.

Hate

I have tried calming myself down when I see a person whom I hate or get irritated with. I, more often associate this feeling of hatred with getting annoyed with people. Yes, there are valid reasons, if you ask me. For instance, our manager, who seems to be overly interested in approaching girls with utter sweetness, trying for unnecessary attention unless he wants to prove himself as a pervert, which I had heard he actually has and now, am completely sure of. Staring at a girl like a piece of sausage gets you those remarks and even asking her out for coffee, without realizing that you have a family.

I have tried making peace with my mind over this issue, who never gives up on releasing my stress and anger hormones when humans like these are around. It is easy to love, may be easier to hate. Perceptions can be deceiving I agree but experiences don’t lie about the fact.

Sometimes even my brother annoys me, to buy him gadgets, I get irritated but I don’t hate him. Of course he is my brother and thus he has the right to ask for things, for which I have equal rights to deny. Thus this criterion seems valid to be devoid of even the mention of the word hate.
Hate seeds in the mind of beholder when people know they are doing wrong and deny acknowledging their deeds. Hate is invited when someone keeps their crime a secret. Hate is subjective and relative in all terms.

When it comes to those levels that our control goes beyond our comprehension and thoughts, we forget how to forgive. What to do in that stage, I have no clue about, because seeing things happen in horrendous ways doesn’t let one forgive. It is definitely not easy to forgive and leave the reigns of hatred, when bad and annoying things still continue.

This in turn sticks to our brains like cobweb do, and as they pull a trigger on their part, it brings a surge of uncontrolled hatred at my end or anybody’s for that matter.

How to deal with it?  How to forgive? How to forget?

She never looked back

The wedding gown burned
As she walked down the aisle
The ring in her finger
She never looked back
The wedding gown dragged
And picked up the dirt
The tulips left her hands
She never looked back
The goblet of wine
Wobbled at the table
The window flaps sealed
And the light turned black
The candles raged flames
The wax dripped on skin
But the bishop read versus
And she never looked back
The kiss was perfect
Yet wounds popped
Brought poisoned slow death
Still She never looked back
The lie felt like truth
Thus became a habit with time
And so until she rested
She never looked back
