Some days just be rain
Floods of emotions cannot be sustained
Droughts of desire drive insane
Some days just be rain
Drowned by
dissappointments and pain
Breathing with
effort, fluttering in vain
Forgone time that
went and never came
The last words that
got left self contained
And silence made
those words get tamed
Some days just be
rain
Drought beneath the
layer of rot
Self strengthened to
endure the rock
Stones cutting
through the silent heart
Pick up thorns from
bleeding parts
Dense black sorrow
from the skull
That thought all
good but did nothing well
Now regrets the
deeds it allowed to dwell
Thus falling back
in the ever deepening well
The drought did try
but nothing was gained
What had dried won’t
grow up again
The empty emotions,
sucked out and sold
For prices made on
blame bargains
All ships have sunk,
the flood is on the gain
The drought has come, find a different terrain
If the story holds true, remains unstained
Fight for what is true, strive against the undulating bane
And hope that some days just be rain
