She rested her head against the window
pane, watching the little drops of rain water racing down the glass, one after
the other, speeding, stopping, curving, bending, but finally all falling down
to the end of the window.
She was thinking of him. How he would cuddle her, pull her out of crowd
to be with him, push her away and then bring her back, only to be closer.
Asking her to be with him 24*7 and
behave like a child when she won’t listen
And finally to accept her as his love
in front of the world without a hint of shyness or insecurity.
She
remembered all the good times, dripped in them, relived in them, and smiled to
herself. Not so late, a tear rolled down her eyes, and then another, she tasted
the salt water.
Why this had to happen? Why me? Why did
he leave? Things can always be sorted out right?
This time she didn’t wipe them off, to
be easy and slow on herself, else it would make her cry louder, she let down
the tears. There were commonalities between her and the window pane, only that
the glass didn’t shatter out of thinking.
No guys, it’s not me, ya I know! It’s not you also. It’s some
other X, Y, Z, who is so stupid to waste her or probably his time, thinking
about someone, somewhere, sometime.
So this X, Y, Z ,maybe right
now, this time, in the heavy showers of Bangalore or somewhere else, looking at
the moon and stars, would be thinking about that ‘someone’ but WHY??!?!
Why are they thinking, why are they thinking at all! At days
stretch and all night long!
Guys don’t tell me you never thought about someone like that. I am
sure ‘Mr./Ms. Someone’ has already created their image in some corner of your
head. Other way I won’t believe you.
Nevertheless my point
is concaved upon thinking. People waste hours of time just thinking
Had I done that or Had I said that, would it matter to her/him,
Why doesn’t he understand? Why is she
always so suspicious? What wrong did I say?
If you really think things
can be sorted out, Do the Talking!..And Not Thinking!
Communication plays a key role in any relationship, and things
would refrain to be normal unless you talk.
Say Sorry, Shun your Ego! Discuss and bring out the Solution..
“Some things are left
unsaid” They say, Really?! Well then a
lot of things are better to be said!
Don’t succumb to your emotions and thoughts. They really waste
your time, affect your personality and behavior, dump your attitude, decline
your
esteem. You think, rethink, re-attempt, work hard to pertain it,
sustain it, kill your time, kill yourself! And what not! They weaken you and
you tend become perplexed!
Rowing up to somebody’s expectations is fine, until you are caught
in a flood of emotions, and drowned in the tides of your own thoughts! The
matter becomes worst when a song plays along, which exactly describes your
feelings. The song which was a slow bollywood number, suddenly starts sounding
so meaningful!
Well that’s when I say,” Take a chill pill yar! , and STOP
THINKING!” .
If you are literally out of your mind, and have no control over
your thought process, do what you like most! Play, dance, sing loudly, run,
drive (Mind it! Not Drink and Drive!) Or at least you can do is have a bath, that
I suppose may keep you busy for a while! :P
And if you are a creative person start writing! The best poems
comes out of worst emotions. Now it’s all up to you ..If you want to use your
thoughts, feelings, emotions bring a dynamic touch to it, or sit in a corner and ponder over your poignant thoughts.
Discover yourself, stop wasting your time, don’t drink down those thoughts,
emotions and erupt abruptly. Instead suppress them, abdicate them, or atmost
redirect this energy somewhere else, for the purpose of good, your good.
